First of all, beware of hosting packages that make "luxurious" or wild claims. Many web hosting providers will "over-sell" their servers. They will give amounts of disk space and bandwidth allocations that are laughably unrealistic -- promises that literally cannot be kept. They count on customers not using what the customer is promised.1
We design our hosting plans with a number of factors in mind. Among these are:
• What the customer wants and needs.
• What our servers can handle efficiently.
• What is profitable for us to run and support.
• What is reasonably priced for the customer.
Our attitude is that our hosting service must meet the needs of both the customer and be something that is sustainable and supportable by Spartacus System -- a real "agreement".
And if our hosting packages don't meet your needs, if you have feedback about them, or if you have some special requirements, then we can only say: contact us and we'll work with you.
Footnote:
1 The topic of over-selling space on shared servers is what put us into the business of hosting. We've had various domains and customer domains hosted with other companies. What we've found is that space is routinely over-sold.
We've had hosting companies terminate our service simply because we used our full allotment of disk space and/or bandwidth. We've seen servers so overloaded with thousands and thousands of customers that the web sites the servers hosted were pathetically slow.
After too many of those experiences, we then decided we could do a better job at it. This is how we got into the business of providing a full range of Internet and web hosting services.
