Do you offer free phone support for Internet hosting?

The short answer is "yes" -- you'll find our phone number on our contact page.

Important note: It is critical to understand how we support our systems and what the goal of our support is.

We do support our servers (server hardware and software and network connections) 24/7. But that happens behind the scenes and does not normally involve our customers.

We do not provide 24/7 telephone support. Our primary means of hosting support is via e-mail and our web-based trouble ticket system. But we do telephone support as an emergency or secondary option.

To be blunt, sometimes you will reach our voice-mail when you call us, and sometimes our phones will be busy. But we are happy to provide telephone support as needed during regular business hours.

Please understand that our support is support for issues with our servers, network, and our hosting control panel.

This support is not to solve problems with your web site software or problems in your own web site.

The reason for this is simple. Our cheapest Internet hosting packages are less than $10 per month. We would go broke providing free telephone support at that rate -- just think about it.

Also, there is no way we can be effective and efficient in providing free phone support for every web site and web-based software application that any one of our customers decided to install.

Clearly, there are gray areas here. We have solved problems of our customers software and their web sites, but that is not our goal -- we expect to be paid for such work.

The goal of our free telephone support is to enable customers to effectively use our hosting services. The first and foremost way we do that is by running servers that stay up and communicate with the wider Internet.
